The Intuitive Power of Dreams

Watch my interview on the Mystical Sisterhood podcast.

I’m excited to share an in-depth conversation I recently had with Maureen Spielman, where we dive deep into the fascinating world of dreams and how they play a crucial role in processing our waking lives. This episode is especially close to my heart as I reflect on my own journey with dreams and how they’ve supported me, even during my most restless nights.

In our conversation, I open up about how my dream life first began to take shape during my early corporate career. As someone who was ambitious and driven to climb the corporate ladder, I faced significant sleep challenges, including insomnia, sleep paralysis, and night terrors. Frustrated with the superficial “fortune cookie” interpretations of dreams, I sought something deeper—a real understanding that resonated with my life. This led me to discover remarkable synchronicities between my dreams and waking experiences, prompting me to study dream work more seriously under the guidance of skilled mentors.

During the interview, I emphasize that while many people look for straightforward interpretations of their dreams, the true power lies in the exploration itself. It’s in this journey of examining dreams with curiosity and guidance that individuals can uncover personal meanings that speak directly to their unique experiences. My role as a guide is to help others unlock the wisdom embedded in their dreams, offering them a deeper connection to themselves.

We also talk about the importance of not just the metaphysical but the physical aspect of sleep. Our society tends to prioritize waking life, often dismissing the critical role sleep plays in our overall well-being. I share my thoughts on how essential it is for our bodies to experience proper, restorative sleep—ideally free from the crutches of pills or supplements.

One of the key takeaways I highlight in the episode is the importance of intention and practice in remembering dreams. I recommend keeping a dream journal by your bedside and spending a few moments upon waking to recall and jot down your dreams. This simple practice sends a powerful message to your subconscious mind that you value and are open to the insights your dream life can offer.

I hope you enjoy the video!
